    To me, sovereign risk fell significantly when BF Gov hiked the gold royalties. The meaning was clear: they're going to tax the mine, not take the mine. I took it as a signal to top up.

    With BF gov earning well from WAF's success, interests are aligned. Everyone wants to see Kiaka up and running and Sanbrado ticking along smoothly. And a nice contrast from Australia to hear that in BF, cost inflation has stopped being a thing.
