I wonder how this material would work as a mat underneath and or around a car battery .
I had an engineer neighbour who had been building an electric car a VW bug with the engine replaced by electric motor , one of the issues was the batteries got hot and there life expectancy dropped , due to fast and prolonged discharges causing the battery to heat up . Would the material AJX have take the heat away from the battery to a heat ink like the car body where it could be cooled by the natural air flow when driving ?
Tesla uses a water recycling system to keep their car batteries cool but is expensive system there is something like 3000 battery cells in a Tesla car to keep cool . Nissan Leafs did not use the system and ran into issues with battery life .
