I have no doubt a sub-contractor's sustainability would be very important. Any US military contract for AJX would substantially improve its financial position over time. AJX has been in business for quite a while as well. I don't really see an issue but the re-negotiating of their debt arrangement looking forward a few years ahead certainly helps the position of AJX (at a substantial cost to current investors of course).
