Would someone give me confirmation on figures for HAS
Capex A$ 503 m. latest feb 24
Selling price basket US$ 49.30 kg
OPEX US $ 22.5 kg
This gives a margin of about US$ 26800 per ton
Ownership is 100% I think the govt will be taking a free shareholding.
Agreement on selling tonnage 10000 tons pa to China 16th Feb.
Potential profit pa of US$ 268 m. After say 30% tax. (10000x 26800 x 0.7)
Under the Feb 2024 economics update they mention average EBITDA p/a of A$ 258 million which is about US$ 120 m.
I cannot see where the difference is as it changes the NPV by a huge amount.
Waiting to BUY when I see finance in place.
