pummeled? That is ridiculous. Come on mate that is a huge over reaction. Why would it drop even at all? The options only kick in if revenues are over $200M at which time the share price would be probably be close to $1.
I do not like the proposed option package because in my view it is beyond what is fair remuneration. Just because it is too much does not mean it will have a material impact on the value of the stock or the share price.
In my view it means when we are $1 a share price, it should be $1.04. Not the end of the world, but a remuneration package way more than fair, IMO.
