By and large I think Ross Garnaut is right

The younger generations of today have got it tougher than the generation I grew up in ie the immediate post WW2 generations
And it has got particularly more tough for the 20-30 generation
History has been kind to my generation
The generation before me went through the Great Depression and then WW2 and they had every right to say we got it easy.

It really is a matter of luck, when & where you're born, as to what economic and other storms you bump into or not
And you don't really get a say or have much influence on how your circumstances work out.

The only influence you can have is 1. How hard you work 2. Not to squander your earnings and talents 3. Do your best to vote the best govt for the country

And imo this mob isn't the best we could have or even as good as they might have been.
