interesting post, and a pleasant contrast to the usual inane and boring baiting and flaming on HC politics. I was a younger generation once myself, and never felt that I had it tough. Would not like to be starting in a job fresh out of school or TAFE or Uni now, but it’s never been easy for people at that stage of life. Worse now maybe because of social media, and all the grief which can result. i started off in crap jobs, but through the magic of education, gradually found more and more worthwhile employment. I try to adhere to the notion that if you “love what you do, you’ll never work a day”. the older I get, the more I love what I do, and am still working well past retirement age. And what I do, I think I’m not depriving some youngster of a job.

Good point of view. There's too much blaming in today's societies everywhere. Maybe there always has been, maybe it's just the way people behave and there's not much can be done to change that.
