For what it's worth I don't think it's not about a specific generation but the period of time we are currently live in.
The 'peak' period of time (post WW2) was between 1989-2001, which coincided with Generation X becoming adults.
Pre 1989 was the Cold War & 2001 started global period of 'war on terrorism'.
Peace breeds prosperity & harmony.
2024 is not a great year in human history & not just because of 'growing inequality'.
