Generosity redefined!!
On his way to work, Robert passes by a homeless guy with a melancholy look, seated in front of an apology for a shelter. Out of compassion for him, Robert donates $20 every day to the poor guy. He continued his charitable work for a year, but from the second year the amount of donation came down to $15. Next year the amount was even less at $10.
The flabbergasted poor guy looked askance at his benefactor:
–What is going on, sir?
-- My son went to college last year, so I had to cut down on my spendings. This year my daughter got into the medical college.
–If you don't mind my asking, how many children do you have?
-- Four, but why do you ask?
–’Cos, I was wondering whether you have a plan to educate the remaining two children too with my money?
