I think that is correct, Indians arrived in Australia about 40,000 years ago. I can not imagine how they travelled so far back then, but somehow they did. Likely the Australian Aborigines are what the people of India back then looked like. mack67 is correct, many people in Southern India look very much the same as the Australian Aborigines. It was commonly believed Aryans Invaded northern India in 1500 BC and then interbreed with them making the northern Indians a lighter colour, although this theory has come under dispute in recent years.
