OBM is controlled by Hawkes Point (a global fund manager) and they are unlikely to be a seller until the share price fairly reflects the valuation of this company when it is eventually producing ~200,000 plus ounces per annum at an AISC cost below $1700.

At that stage the plant would be operating to full capacity and being fed by 2 underground operations

At some stage Hawkes Point must need to bank a profit on their 10 plus year rather painful involvement and a strategic sale may be into a friendly takeover offer at the right mix of cash/shares in GMD in 12/18 months time.

The OBM operation, cashflow and high growth potential may fit very nicely into the bigger GMD business by then.

GMD is going to acquire other WA goldfield projects and OBM will certainly be on their wish list.
