The last time I looked Genesis had a market capitalisation of around $2 billion and the financial support of some of the biggest gold investor institutions in the country.
For the right opportunity, I suspect that Raleigh Finlayson could probably raise the big money and market support to acquire any quality gold asset in Australia.
In 12 months time the Genesis business strategy and execution may also become clearer.
