Acquisitive Western Australian gold explorer Genesis Minerals is set to acquire battling neighbour Dacian Gold, and ask shareholders to help fund its bid.

Street Talk can reveal Genesis Minerals and Dacian Gold were working to agree the deal over the weekend, while Genesis Minerals’ brokers were also shoring up early interest in a proposed $100 million equity raising.
