There must be other big pharma groups very interested in killing superbugs with short peptides, if Genetech were to try and give PYC the run around.

PYC will by now have identified a number of small active peptides in their library to offer the next big guy willing to fund such trials

I suspect it won't come to that, but it would make me feel more comfortable if I knew PYC planned a competitive position in readiness for negotiations and/or to fall back onto if necessary.

There aren't many days left in October, so we are probably going to find out one way, or the other, next week I assume.
