According to the board's website, an emergency action notice is issued to an approved provider when the board is satisfied that a service is "operating in a manner that poses an immediate risk to the safety, health or wellbeing of children attending a service", and requires action to be taken in 14 days or less to "remove or reduce the risk". The notice was issued for failing to comply with regulations including the "needs for sleep and rest of children", "premises, furniture and equipment to be safe, clean and in good repair", and the outdoor space to be "enclosed by a fence or barrier".
