Remember 3m Didn't develop the patch, the brains behind it are from OBJ, and could be easily lost if 3m come across as the big evil ogor. The team and knowledge depth may be more important to them than the product itself... who knows... OBJ cant be so stupid as to not know what they have, regardless of 3m coming to the party or bailing they do have some ground to stand on..

Just like almost every thread on here, this is all speculation though again... the only thing we can do it wait and see what happens.
