I agree 100% when you say gold is akin to a "universal constant"....in this time of uncertainty & devaluing of the USD, Euro $ looking like a cow with a cup of tea, greek finacial collapse, spanish looking like following suit, etc etc!!!! the one & only constant in all this turmoil is GOLD & that is why I'm buying gold stocks
