Posted on 15/01/2020 by ECMGenus Plus Group today announced the acquisition of electrical contractor ECM in what the company believes will introduce a comprehensive power generation and distribution offering to the national resources sector.GNP Chief Executive Dave Riches said ECM had an enviable track record in delivering major electrical and instrumentation projects across Australia.“This is an exciting acquisition for the Group and allows us to offer customers a unique, vertically integrated product and services solution across the generation, transmission, substation and distribution sectors.With ECM joining the GenusPlus Group it will open our service offering for the group to become an end to end service provider for both Power & Comms. ECM will become our main brand for electrical infrastructure work, working closely with the entire Group,” Mr Riches said.“The opportunity to bring ECM into the Genus Group was too good to pass. ECM brings a strong project management pedigree complemented by experienced executive management which, combined with the current GNP team, will enable us to deliver a much broader suite of services to both our clients in construction and maintenance.“It’s an exciting time for GNP and the wider market in general.
