When I first started investing in the 80s everything went up so you made money investing in rubbish until the 87 crash when I lost heaps of money,that experience taught me much about the share market and since them my losses have been limited.
Keep at it and you will get there I retired early on the proceeds of investing rather than speculating and as they say investing is like watching grass grow.
