The other big nickel story of the week has got to be BHP's Venus nickel discovery up at Perseverance. And once again, where did they find it? Right next to the original Nickel mine at Leinster.
It sounds a bit like the last decent find that was made up there: Rocky's Reward, which was made by a manic young exploration geologist on mine secondment, who wouldn't do what he was told, drove up to a lump of ironstone that he'd always liked the look of beside one of the mine roads, and poked a hole under it with a drilling rig..
There is enough good nickel news coming out of WA at the minute to keep the market bubbling along very nicely.
