Sounds very much like you worked at Phosphate Hill in the old days Bubwell.
Incitec Pivot bought it out from BHP circa 2006.
Lots of phosphate and Incitec have the metallurgy worked out.Biggest Phosphate mine in Australia,but they are running low on the High grade ore and are running on P2O5 circa 15-20% ore grades.
Fertilisers are the future.. you can always dig out coal and Iron but there is no point unless you can eat.
Glencore have just made a move into Fertilisers. No need to tell you BHP,Vale,Rio and other gorillas are in the process of doing the same thing.It's the universal enegy supplement for Human Beings .. It's called the food chain master ingredient.. Nothing like manure (fresh or old)to keep those plants happy.
Nitrogen my boy .. MAP/DAP/Phosphoric Acid/Phosphates .. keep those plants happy... This will be the biggest industry on the planet when 9 billion people need to eat the crops to stay alive.It wont be long and may prevent the factored in Food Wars.
