There was a book written on the Vancouver Stock Exchange about 25 or 30 years ago when it was well and truly " the wild west" ....fascinating reading.
I think the book was called "Fleecing the Lambs"....see if you can find a copy. You will look at the financial markets quite differently after you read it.
