IMO this was the key point in Ole Christiansen’s comments:

‘One way forward could be to operate with a geographic limit. As Greenland is a vast country with a sparse population, one could argue that a geographic limit on radioactive mineral extraction within a certain distance of inhabited areas could achieve both’.
The TANBREEZ Project is located 20 km northeast of Qaqortoq (population 3300) and 12 km southwest of Narsaq (population 1600).

    Kvanejfeld Distance; Narsaq: 1,633 (2018) 7.1km : Qaqortoq: 3,224 (2018) 28.0km

Do you set the geographic limit at 10km from a population centre so excluding Kvanejfeld from mining but not Tanbreez? Or 12km excluding both from mining?
What selection criteria would you use to select the distance a mine has to be from a population centre?
