Thought i would start a new thread to get of the package talk :)
On the plane trip tonight over to Perth, I listened to Q radio where Talking Buisness with Alan Kohler had Dr Allan Trench on.
Allan is a Geologist author and also director of Navigator Resources amongst other companies and has released a book about investing in Australian resource co's.
He mentioned that 50% of australian resource companies have geologists in the top job followed by engineers 20%, accountants & lawyers 20% and others 10%.
He said that his research showed the companies that were the most sucessfull had the following attributes;
1.Geologist at the helm.
2.high cash backing.
3.drilled the most holes in the ground.
SSN meets all 3.
geologists rule !
