Moondoong, i agree. Dilution can be as simple as a tired or lazy truck driver, digger operator, mess up in the mill or as simple as a corporate misunderstanding and over complicated this earlier announcement and made an error in applying the reserve statement.
Additionally from my experience most resource and reserve statements prior to release "and being set in stone so to speak" are generally audited by an external organisation or consultancy group for additional compliance and validity. The other one to watch out for on the overall quality of a resource is fluctuations in commodity price and mining costs over time which will change the economics of any reserve.....once again all at the fingertips of the geos crystal ball. In this market should one say balls?
