Lower your wage expectations. Best way to score a job atm is to undercut over paid grads currently employed. There is a generation of young geos who have over inflated sense of entitlement and will be easy to out bid and out work. 60k is a realistic starting wage and expect crap work in a crap place in 40deg heat. If a grad geo said those things to me in an interview I'd hire him/her on the spot.
