    Incorrect. For an SoA to succeed it would need 50% of the total shareholders voting with at least 75% of the total shares voted in the resolution.

    As such, and based on what a poster just wrote to contradict your 8,000 shareholders figure, there will still be 6,000 shareholders left and, if they are all going to vote, you will need at least 3,000 of them to stop the next SoA get through, (if they are going to issue another one that is).

    Yet again you might be basing your figure on the amount of shares voted last time for the SoA. But none of us really knows what the next number of people will be voting next time around. Could be more could be less. But, don't forget the ones which will support the SoA and worse of all, the financial institutions and the superannuation funds with an extremely long list of voters which don't even know how their shares are going to be voted for.

    In any managed superannuation funds, investors have no say whatsoever in how their holdings are going to be voted in any resolution, only the fund will.
