With respect, its not the journalist expressing an opinion here - it is quoting the letter that Mali’s foreign minister on Monday sent to the UN Security Council chairman (who this month is China, and next month is France, as per the mindless rotation there) seeking intervention. Reuters is carrying the same report, as is Al Jazeera and every other newswire. African politics yes. It is wise to keep an eye on this stuff tho, not just the warm fuzzy pics posted by Investability of our (former) company leaders meeting with ministers from the same government that has written this letter making these accusations and who is presently receiving military equipment deliveries from Russia.
