i see part of your point Joel, its still major mislead, the minor difference to ur example is that there was no mention of 'increase' a clear mention of 'positive ebitda'.
and positive ebitda, is not normal practice for that figure to be broken down to market on a mthly reference.
Especially if you follow the trend of a particular company, and see their history and timeframe of reporting. You need standards of reference otherwise a person could pull any words out and mislead it would be too easy.
Imagine there was one day in which i signed a deal and i was cashflow positive just for that day and made a profit overall cos i didnt have to pay my employees till next week, then technically could i make a market ann, saying ive generated positive EBITDA?
thats the purpose of timely reporting, to allow comparisons. And to me its complete rubbish to start chopping into periods and playing with words.
Definate consistency is required on this going forward with NWT, and no more crap!!
