I completely agree with your sentiments, but!

The word "over" means (according to m-w.com):
1 a : across a barrier or intervening space;

So if you say over last 6 months you would jump OVER the months from June straight to December. Just because lots of people misinterpret the english language doesn't mean they're correct.

You say, you want consistency from NWT. In my view this company has been very consistent over the last 3 years: Strong downward trend in share price, punctuated by spurious bursts of "good" news, false hopes, and continuous placements.

Frankly, why anyone would pin their hopes on something of this pedigree is amazing. Some people either need their head read, or need to get themselves an education in the stock market rather than trying to expensively work it out by themselves.
