One of the things GDY has discovered is that their hot dry rock is is fact, saturated in superheated brine. For GDY this may turn out to be an advantage because the hot brine will transfer heat vertically and into the horizintal fractures of their heat exchanger. This is expected to improve the efficiency of the heat exchanging process.

If the GRK granite is similarly fractured and saturated with brine then their geothermal gradient may be decreased. This would be a problem because heat engines work best with large temperature differentials.

The GDY granite is at a temperature of 240C as I recall and this will give the company a significant advantage when it comes to turning all that hot steam into electricity.

I have sold all my GDY holdings and bought GDYO. I have been trading GDYO for a while now and it has been quite profitable
