Robin Bromby has a little bit to say today in the Australian under the heading Geothermal not hot. To quote: Its still a tough love zone, however, in geothermal. By the look of it, even good news early in the week couldn't overcome the urge to lock in tax losses.

This sector certainly is in the doldrums at the moment...and I am starting to understand why......by the time we actually get round to getting the proving geothermal power plant up and running the technology will have been well and truly overtaken by the next wave of technology...whatever that may be.

I agree with the sentiments of a recent poster ho bemoaned that instead of travelling the world at the SHs expense PTR should concentrate on proving one or two core projects and then diversify...currently we are ambling along without focus. Don't get me wrong, all the projects have a future but focus is needed at the moment instead of spreading our limited cash resources thinly.

    Just some idle thoughts.
