and I sometimes wonder if the "up to 15% bitumen yields" was really a 7-9% on the whole resource.. torbanite and cannel coal combined, distilled down from 15-20% hydrocarbon yields
and the current (spoken) 30% bitumen yields, being distilled down from >60% hydrocarbon yields, with equal contribution from cannel coal and torbanite, and (i think unexpected) improvements in asphaltenes, means "30% bitumen yields" are more like >30%
who knows. looking forward to finding out soon.
