Even better still would be to see the operators of the Wairaki (sp?) Geothermal Field and power station in the north island of NZ take a stake in an aussie hotrocker.
That project has been been running successfully for over 30 yrs ... there are definite synnergies imo ... some of their wells are up to 2km deep and they deal with extremely high temperatures. I had a good look over the project on a recent holiday to NZ (Mrs Poyndexter was a little underwhelmed that afternoon, but the engineer in me couldnt resist the opportunity lol).
