    The price of wholesale electricity doubled in the space of 6 weeks this year as the drought cripples hydro and coal fired power stations. Used to be $35/MWh now about $70/MWh. Add $20 on top of that for carbon tax and Geothermal at about $45/MWh becomes very competetive. check out the following story:
