Geothermal testing is being done around Logan and Tamborine . The mud springs is in Aspley a fair distance apart I am not sure if that makes any difference. The mud springs was bubbling hot mud and hydrogen sulfide gases plugged/capped with a big chunk of concrete for public safety in 1979. Yes mud springs and geothermal are completely different heat/ energy . Testing is not being done in Aspley.
