FGR detailed the other month, for FGR to reach breakeven they need to sell 18t of graphene.
Basic calculation to work out BE.
FGR are likely to see a $5.1mil loss for FY19
$5.1mil/18t = $283k per tonne.
FGR has also disclosed that they will likely see $10mil EBITDA from the Henderson facility 100tpa.
Basic Calculation,
FY19 operating costs + 20% increase + (Graphene production cost x quantity manufactured) = Total
Operating costs
$5.1mil +20% + ($25k x 100tpa) = $9.6 mil
Revenue
100tpa x $200k per T Graphene (discount due to bulk quantities purchased)
Revenue = $10Mil
EBIDTA
Revenue - Operating costs
$20mil - 9.6mil
=$10.4mil Profit
Too many variables to come up with an accurate graphene margin, it all depends on what graphene price FGR used to calculate the EBITDA, if they used $180k per T the cost to manufacture graphene might be as low $10k per T.
