germaine greer to be honoured on postage stamp, page-32

I hear that snail-mail is going out of fashion so perhaps it's not such an honour as to be worth stirring the passions about.
Not that I took much notice of her, I always found her a wholly unattractive, unappealing, character - still she had her day and a big following; didn't she apologise to her followers relatively recently, after realising that she'd got it wrong?
Ozeb mentioned Sir Les and, as a matter of fact, the same thought crossed my mind - why not Sir Les, too, he had a heck of a lot of followers who all got it wrong also, but I don't think I ever heard him apologise.
