You can see the absolute moral bankruptcy of the far right with this example. They keep raving about Germany having ‘shot itself in the foot’. If not for the nuclear threats of the Putin mafia-state, all of Europe would already be at war with the Putin mafia-state. The best that the European nations can do is sanction the Putin mafia-state as harshly as they can, and supply Ukraine with weapons. German weapons will kill Putin mafia-state troops. That is reality.
In war there is fall out for both sides. If you decide that you won’t do business with a fascist regime then that is not “shooting yourself in the foot”, that is accepting that there is going to be fall out from your actions. Europe is pivoting away from Russia, and is severing all business ties. And things won’t be ‘going back to normal’. This process will be continuous and ongoing.
