Citizens initiative has campaigned hard to get all the candidates on board but failed despite the threat of no vote from any of its members during upcoming Mayor election.
Those 3 candidates they could not get on board are the front runners. Out of other 3 kretzler is the one fully on board as he is a member of citizens initiative. Sand is having more democratic approach to the issue but haven't yet decided any firm decision on this.

From the point of view of the IG, there are three deep geothermal energy advocates (Deuschle, Heger and Bohnstedt) who support the geothermal-friendly decision of the municipal council benevolently and three "deep geothermal energy skeptics" (Sand, Kretzler and Rickersfeld) who, as they say, above all want to see the will of the public respected.


The next step will be the referendum.
