Just short summary of the town hall meeting today in Landau. The city of Landau today repositioned there „Anti Geothermal“ attitude. From today on they want to be open about the technology - also in regard of lithium extraction.
But most interesting at that meeting were the voices from the different parties which mentioned several times the following facts:
- The third well / drill hole in Landau will very likely get the approval, the city can’t do anything against it
- Even if city wouldn‘t participate: Vulcan, IKAV or geox could still drill on private properties in this area
- 3D seismic will be next steps
Looking forward what they are going to build in Landau and Insheim and inbetween
