Yes I heard that. Essentially what you get is that geothermal is a big picture idea wanted by the Federal government and pushed onto the local councils who then feel disempowered. The Federal government needs to talk to the local councils and get them on board. The problem is a fear of change and a disruptive technology. The people have to be won over and need to see the benefits. No different to any new technology. Change is coming, that is the way of the world. Best way forward is to get young people on board!
