"Last Saturday, April 20th, Vulcan welcomed council members, mayors and aldermen from all municipalities involved in Phase One of Vulcan's ZERO CARBON LITHIUM project to simultaneously produce carbon-neutral lithium and renewable energy at its Lithium Extraction Optimization Plant (LEOP) in Landau."
"Among the guests were political representatives from the city of Landau, the local communities of Insheim, Rohrbach and Herxheim as well as the Herxheim community, who were able to gain an insight into the process of climate-neutral lithium chloride production during the visit."
"The next step is to put the central lithium electrolysis optimization plant (CLEOP) in the industrial park in Frankfurt-Höchst into operation in the summer, in which the lithium chloride extracted in the LEOP will be processed into battery-ready lithium hydroxide monohydrate (LHM)."
