From approx 3:30 onwards they flag Vulcan’s subsoil exploration permits for the 500 square kilometre exploration zone between Mulhouse and Colmar, on the French side of the border, and say the first mapping campaign there could commence in the next few months. Stellantis will undoubtedly be very pleased about that, even just from a government relations perspective, as it brings France right into the middle of the action of locating European lithium from European sources for European automakers to meet European legislated targets (US EV uptake is largely irrelevant to Vulcan at this point - it’s producing 500,000 EVs for Europe that it’s customers are focussed on).
