    Dudes, here is a correction by an 18 year old on HC to NASAs calculation.

    If the meteor is 320m in diameter and assuming that it is a sphere the equation for volume is

    v=4/3*pi*r^3

    based on this the metor has a volme of 17,164,190 m3

    If made of solely irridium, the weight given irridium is 22.154 ytonnes per m3. so it would wiegh 380,255,476 tonnes or if iron ore at 2.9 tonnes per m3 only 49,776,152.

    I think NASA need to get some new calculators

    dudes, one thing is when some one quotes numbers check the resoanblensss 200 billion tonnes
