TBH, History shows that companies who are always slow to inform the market will never change... Their attitude to keeping S/H`s upto date stays with them through out their career... Why they have this attitude is unbelieveable but it is widespread....
We know that other parties who are way too slow in finalising deals do not help the situation but CEO`s etc don`t think it is necessary to make a comment. IMO an announcement regardless of how bad it is can strengthen the SP as investors prefer to know the truth ... It is better to know how high the risk is than not at all... A delay with a detailed explanation can easily be accepted by the market...
At least we don`t live in denial of this like other people do with their punts.
