a bottle of good French wine would good. he's got some seriously expensive wine tastes. uses shit olive oil though as was pointed out in one of his posts.
seriously though he does a decent job. I've watched the ones he's done the BC from JRV. I think as long as there is a connection between between the 2 parties they can be very beneficial to us punters. Samso has done wonders for ADN as an example.
