Yes, understand Alcoa have only paid a few million so far to pay for these pilot runs and engineering on the demo plant.

However the business case was put to Alcoa at a global strategy level and they have ticked off on the funds and they are allocated with the intention to be distributed as a part of their global future strategy.

They are cashed up and there is a fast growing demand for the product.
I will ask you a question on competitors. none have full funding on a full scale hPa plant. What if market volatility comes in the next 12 months and things turn nasty. won't that make it that bit harder to raise funds, whether it be dilution at a lower share price or the terms of finance with a lender?

Cashed up & FYI nearly fully de-risked. Anyone going down the debt highway will find it nearly impossible to get funding. Just look at SO4, fooled everyone including CBA and CEFC.
