Clearly the ideals of clean energy are very good and noble.
The reality is that many politicians and those on the left (including the UN) have pushed the clean energy agenda too quickly resulting in this shambles that is impacting economies that have tried to show how 'green' they are. The countries that will reap the rewards from this will be those that have given lip service to the green energy revolution and quietly continued to build coal fired power stations as a tried and tested method of providing 'cheap' electricity to the masses.
China and India will be the winners while Europe has already signed it's own death warrant with poor decisions being made in the belief they are helping humanity, when in reality they are simply causing hardship for future generations by reacting to outraged minorities that would not have been heard in a world before social media.
USA is belatedly coming to realise the Paris Accord is nothing more than an idealistic agreement that will do nothing for the people who really need assistance - those without access to power and clean water.
A sham from start to finish.
