I think you're reading a bit too much into it, I' m sure the gold will be there.

Kingworldnews makes a mountain out of a molehill out of trivia like this but it hasn't even rated a mention in the WSJ.

In fact the last mention of gold in the WSJ was Italy's 2450 tonnes of inert yellow metal sitting there doing nothing and a columnist wandering what use it was at all, and that it should be used to reduce borrowing costs.
